The Dead-Tossed Waves (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, #2)The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I listened to this on CD and I’m not sure if it was the girl’s voice that made me not like it as much or what. I did like it though, just not as much as the first one. And I found the character of Gabrielle to be a bit….irritating at times. But it was a good second installment and answered more questions about the world Ryan has created. And as in the first one, there is hardly time to relax before something else happens to change everything you’ve ever known! I think I will physically read the last one. 🙂

YA Book Review

The Forest of Hands and Teeth (The Forest of Hands and Teeth, #1)The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow. This book kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. It’s Night Of The Living Dead in a real-life scenario. What happens when you can’t get rid of the zombies? Where is society generations later? And who is allowed to know what happened in the past? An incredible story filled with pain, longing, dreams, love and above all, the will to survive and the courage to find the truth. I can’t wait to read the next book!
