>YA Book Review: Secret Keeper

>Secret KeeperSecret Keeper by Mitali Perkins

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book – it was bittersweet, but such a beautiful story about the bond between sisters and the importance of family, no matter what the cost. The characters are real and the writing made me feel like I was there in India. It was so interesting to read about another culture and the traditions that ruled the character’s lives. Even in the midst of traditions that kept women down, it is clear in this story that the women are the strong ones.
